This pattern is very concerning. If someone you love is in a nursing home and you're not confident that they're getting appropriate care, it's imperative that you move them as quickly as possible. We realize that moving a loved one can be very challenging. Further, if your loved one is an elderly resident, particularly an elderly resident who has dementia or confusion, moving them to a brand new facility can be very difficult. However, if you're not confident they're getting appropriate care, it's imperative that you move them to a facility where you are confident that they're getting appropriate care.
